1. Our commitment to privacy
Create Your Dream Services, Inc. (“CYD”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of customers, prospective customers and website visitors. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, protect and retain personal information when you use createyourdream.ca, contact us, use live chat, purchase services or become a customer.
CYD follows applicable Canadian privacy requirements. Privacy obligations can vary by province and circumstance, so this policy should be reviewed as our services or legal requirements change.
2. Information we collect
Depending on your interaction with CYD, we may collect:
- name, email address, telephone number and business/contact information;
- messages submitted through our contact form, email or live chat;
- account, domain, hosting, website and email-service information needed to provide services;
- billing, purchase and transaction information;
- IP address, browser/device information, server/security logs and website activity; and
- other information you voluntarily provide for support or service delivery.
3. Why we use information
We use information to answer inquiries; provide, configure and support services; process and reconcile purchases; communicate about accounts, renewals and security; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain our systems; meet legal obligations; and improve our services. We limit collection to information reasonably required for identified purposes.
4. Contact form and communications
When you use our contact form, we receive the information you enter, including your name, email, optional telephone number and message. We use it to respond and maintain appropriate business records.
5. tawk.to live chat
Our website uses tawk.to for live chat. The widget may process chat content, IP address, browser/device and usage information, cookies and local-storage identifiers needed to operate and secure the service. tawk.to states that its data is stored in the United States and that it uses a global content-delivery network. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed.
Do not send passwords, complete payment-card numbers or other highly sensitive information through live chat.
6. Square payments
CYD uses Square-hosted checkout/payment links. Payment-card information entered at Square checkout is submitted to and processed by Square rather than by CYD’s contact form or website server. Square may provide CYD transaction and customer/order information needed to identify, reconcile and support your purchase.
7. Cookies and local storage
Our site and integrated services may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies for functionality, security and communication. tawk.to uses these technologies to maintain chat sessions, recognize returning visitors and operate widget features. You can manage cookies using browser controls, although blocking required storage may prevent features from working correctly.
8. Service providers and disclosure
We may share information with providers that help operate our business, including payment processing, hosting/infrastructure, domain registration, email, security and live-chat providers, only as reasonably required for those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, systems, customers or others.
9. Cross-border processing
Some providers may process information outside your province or outside Canada. Foreign courts, law-enforcement or regulatory authorities may be able to access information under local law.
10. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for identified purposes, service/support needs, transaction and business records, dispute resolution, security and legal obligations. Information no longer required is deleted, destroyed or anonymized where appropriate.
11. Safeguards
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of information. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Customers should use strong unique passwords and avoid sending sensitive credentials through ordinary email or chat.
12. Access, correction and privacy concerns
You may contact us to ask about personal information under our control, request access or correction where applicable, withdraw consent where legally available, or raise a privacy concern. Requests may require identity verification and may be subject to lawful exceptions.
