Prepare the business name, preferred domain, contact details, services offered, target customers, brand assets, and the email address that should own the CYD account. For website design, also gather approved copy, photographs, and any required legal or policy text.

Yes. CYD is designed so you can start with the services needed now and add capacity or custom support as requirements grow. Contact support before a major campaign, migration, or storage increase so the account can be reviewed.

Visit createyourdream.ca/account, enter the email used with your CYD services, and open the secure one-time sign-in link sent to that inbox.

Check spam and junk folders, confirm that you entered the customer email attached to the account, and request a new link. Use the newest link because an older one may no longer be valid. Contact support if no message arrives.

Annual billing is selected by default and is priced as 11 months with the twelfth month included. Current annual totals and inclusions are shown on the CYD pricing section before purchase.

Eligible first-year domain registration is included with eligible annual hosting. Premium domains and certain extensions may cost extra. The domain renews at the then-current annual registration rate.

The plan’s total storage is shared by website files, databases, and email. Large mailboxes or backups can therefore reduce the space available to the website. Individual mailboxes are limited to 2 GB.

Contact CYD with the domain, current service, and the capacity or feature you need. Custom storage, bandwidth, multiple sites, migration, administration, and design work are quoted according to the requirements.

A domain is the memorable address people use to reach your website and business email, such as yourbusiness.ca. Hosting stores the website and email data connected to that address.

The current listed price is $29.99 per year on its own. Premium domains and certain extensions may cost extra. Confirm the price shown at registration before completing the order.

Yes. An existing domain can be connected by updating its DNS records or transferred when appropriate. Do not cancel the old service or change nameservers until the required website and email records have been documented.

DNS changes need time to spread through internet caches. Confirm that the records and nameservers are correct, then allow propagation time. If the result remains inconsistent, send CYD the domain and the exact record you expected to see.

It can. Nameserver and DNS changes may replace or remove MX, SPF, DKIM, autodiscover, and mail-host records. Record the current email configuration and coordinate the change before updating DNS.

The website and email may stop resolving, and recovery can become more expensive or impossible depending on the registry stage. Keep contact and billing details current and address renewal notices promptly.

Sign in at createyourdream.ca/account, find the correct hosting service, and choose Manage Hosting. Plesk opens with the tools available for that subscription.

Depending on the plan and permissions, Plesk can manage website files, databases, WordPress, email accounts, DNS, SSL/TLS, backups, and hosting settings. Some server-wide settings remain managed by CYD.

For the main website, files are commonly stored in httpdocs. Confirm the document root shown for the domain before uploading, moving, or deleting anything. Back up an existing site first.

The domain may still point to another server, the website files may be in the wrong document root, or a default index file may still be loading first. Check DNS, the domain’s hosting settings, and the contents of httpdocs.

Bandwidth measures data transferred when visitors and services use the account. Databases store structured application content for systems such as WordPress. Dream Launch currently includes 100 GB monthly bandwidth and 5 databases; Dream Grow includes 200 GB and 10 databases.

Yes. CYD hosting is WordPress ready. When WP Toolkit is available, open WordPress in Plesk and choose Install. You can also install manually when necessary.

WP Toolkit is recommended for most customers because it creates the database, places the files, and provides management tools in one workflow. Manual installation is useful when direct control is required or Toolkit is unavailable.

The standard address is yourdomain.ca/wp-admin/. WP Toolkit may also provide a Log in button that opens the dashboard directly.

The database name, username, password, host, or database service may not match the values in wp-config.php. Compare the configuration with the database details in Plesk. Avoid changing a live configuration without a backup.

Yes. Security and maintenance updates are important. Back up the site before major updates, remove unused components, and verify the public pages and forms afterward.

Open Plesk through Manage Hosting, select Mail, choose Create Email Address, select the domain, create a strong mailbox password, and keep Mailbox enabled.

Use the complete email address, such as name@yourdomain.ca, for both incoming and outgoing authentication. Use the mailbox password created for that address.

Use the values displayed by Plesk Mail Client Setup. The CYD guide uses mail.yourdomain.ext, IMAP port 993 with SSL/TLS, and SMTP port 465 with SSL/TLS. Port 587 with STARTTLS may be used when shown by Plesk or required by the app. SMTP authentication is required.

Choose IMAP for modern phones, computers, and multiple devices because messages and folders remain synchronized with the server.

Check SMTP authentication, the outgoing server hostname, security type, port, full email username, and mailbox password. A network may also block an unsuitable port. Use the exact secure values shown in Plesk.

Individual mailboxes are limited to 2 GB. Mail also uses the hosting account’s shared storage, so delete unnecessary large messages and empty deleted folders when space is low.

Dream Launch and Dream Grow include SSL/TLS. Confirm that the certificate is active and assigned to the correct website and any applicable mail hostname. A certificate warning should be investigated rather than bypassed.

Use a long, unique password generated by a trusted password manager. Do not reuse it across CYD, Plesk, WordPress, and email. Enable multi-factor authentication wherever it is available.

Create a restorable backup before migrations, DNS or configuration work, WordPress updates, plugin changes, file replacement, and major content edits. A backup is only useful when its scope and restore process are understood.

Contact CYD promptly. From a clean device, change affected passwords, preserve relevant logs and messages, review account users, and avoid deleting evidence before the incident is assessed.

Do not send passwords by email or include them in screenshots. Support can ask for the affected account, domain, app, and exact error without needing the password itself.

Yes. CYD offers clean, responsive website design built around the business, its customers, and its goals. Custom work is quoted according to the project requirements.

Provide approved business details, services, contact information, brand files, preferred imagery, page requirements, legal text, and examples of what you like or dislike. Identify who will approve content and receive form submissions.

Website updates and administration can be included in a custom solution. The scope depends on the platform, access, condition of the existing site, and frequency of changes.

Responsive behaviour is part of modern CYD website design. Each project should still be tested at common phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop sizes before launch.

Domain, DNS, and migration assistance is available as part of custom solutions. A migration review should identify the files, databases, email, DNS records, certificates, forms, and outside services that must continue working.

Include the domain, affected service, device or browser, what you expected, what happened, when it started, and the exact error message. Screenshots are useful when they do not expose passwords, private links, or sensitive information.

Try another network, confirm the domain spelling, note the exact browser error, and check whether email or Plesk access is also affected. Avoid repeatedly changing DNS or deleting files. Send CYD the domain and error details.

Delete unneeded messages with large attachments, empty trash and junk folders, and review Sent items. Because email shares account storage and each mailbox is limited to 2 GB, contact CYD if the account also needs a storage review.
